Men's Shelter is On!!!

Provisional Men's Shelter Participation Approved!

Work Continues!

It is awesome to see so many come out to lend a hand with getting our building where it needs to be to ensure safety in the basement and to move forward with our participation in the Men's Shelter.

Thursday morning the Fire Inspector returned to inspect the work and consider our participation in the Men's Shelter.  While there is still much work to do, he was pleased with the progress that has been made and granted our provisional participation while we continue to work toward completing the work by the end of our 30 days.

There are many ways that you can participate in the shelter:

Faith-Based Cancer Support Group - April 8 & 22

Did you realize that we have a faith-based cancer support group that meets at Life Bridge?

If you or someone you love is battling cancer this group may be just what you need.  It offers encouragement and support to cancer patients, loved ones, and survivors.

The group is led by Gayla Little, trained counselor and Inflammatory Breast Cancer survivor, and Jeni Bolton, loved one of Becky Wilkie, Leukemia survivor.

This is a safe place to brings concerns, questions, and fears.  Join with others who understand.

It is easy to feel alone... No one understands... that God isn't there.  None of these are true.

Experience community with those who understand what you are going through.  Experience God's love and support through the hands of His Body and through His Word.  You are not alone.

Easter Weekend is Here!

Good Friday Service: Friday, April 3rd, 7pm

Today we remember the cross.  We remember the sacrifice that was require because of our sin.  We remember the man who willingly died in our place, a punishment which we deserved.  We remember the love that drove Him.   Join us tonight for a time of reflection.

Easter Services:  Sunday, April 5th 9am and 11am

The Resurrection changes everything!  We do not serve a Lord and Savior who could be defeated by death!  He is alive today and continues to reign over heaven and earth!  Join us for this time of celebration!

Prayer Vigil: Friday, April 3rd 8am- Saturday, April 4th Midnight

Do you have loved ones that you pray for throughout the year that they might come to know Jesus personally?  This is a time of year when hearts tend to be more responsive to Jesus and invitations. Join us in praying for loved ones, softened hearts, and courageous invitations.  Sign us for a 1/2 prayer slot at the link below and enjoy time with God and asking His Spirit to work on the hearts of those you love.  Be willing to let Him work on your heart as well.  Enjoy the adventure!

Bake Jesus Cookies as Part of Your Easter Celebration!

Kairos Prison Ministry

The weekend of of April 9th-12th is the Kairos outreach to the Indiana State Prison.  We are helping to bake cookies which are used as a tool both to show God's love and to empower inmates to forgive.

Cookies need to be prepared and packaged as detailed below with a special recipe (including prayer! :) )  Please drop these at Life Bridge in the freezer by Tuesday evening.  Bill will pick them up and take them with him to the retreat.

There are still many opportunities to pray for this retreat and that God will work in the lives of these inmates.  Sign up for a time slot in the prayer vigil for Indiana State Prison April 9-12, 2015 .

It's time to bake cookies!  See below for details:

Building/Fire Inspection Update

Last week in preparation for beginning our participation in the Men's Shelter for our 4th year, we had a routine fire inspection.  In light of increased safety measures by the city and our expanding ministries, we have a list of fire safety violations that need to be resolved within 30 days.

Things we are celebrating:
