Breakfast for Lunch this Sunday!!

Brunch for Lunch on March 29th!

Who doesn't love breakfast for any meal?  Well that is exactly what is on the menu this Sunday March 29th following 2nd service.  It is a great opportunity to invite family or friends before Easter!  Then they can join you on Resurrection Sunday already comfortable with the environment.

These luncheons are always a great opportunity to serve college students who don't get regular home cooked meals, and to better get to know one another.  Plan now to attend and to let God work through you!

Here is how you can help make this event awesome:

Are there places in your life where you would like to experience an aha! moment? A moment of truth that renews your heart and mind bringing transformation? Maybe for you, it's a fear or a failure that you just can't shake. For some, it could be the need for approval, a food addiction, or an all-out rebellion that leads to a life of excess and shame, like the prodigal son.

Beginning Sunday, April 12th we will launch our next series in the pursuit of AHA.

Plan now to:

  • Go on an adventure of Awakening, Honesty, and Action with the God's Spirit as your guide
  • Invite Family and/or Friends to join the adventure

Chili Cook-off!

Throughout the year we do some special events to help foster relationships with the homeless men in our community and with one another.  The Chili Cook-off was one of these.

Thanks to everyone that joined us for the 2015 Chili Cook Off. We had about 7 amazing entries and some yummy cornbread & desserts.   Entries ranged from chicken to venison and Mediterranean to Mexican!  No two were alike!

As we share what God is doing, we want to celebrate with Mark, one of our homeless men, who is no longer homeless!!

Congratulations to Robyn Renfro-1st Place, Dave & Desiree Feeler-2nd Place & Sara Jax-3rd Place.
