Ministry Opportunities for Men's Shelter 
Today is the second of twenty-six Thursdays Life Bridge will be hosting the men from New Creation Men's Shelter.  There are several ways you can be involved in this ministry, including registration, overnight shifts, providing or cooking breakfast, and cleaning laundry.  You can signup at we.imaginelifedifferently.com.  Click on "Find Roles" to see a list of the various roles under "Mens Shelter."  Once you express your interest in a particular role, be sure to click on "Schedule Opportunities" to schedule yourself for any of the weeks left.  If you have questions, there is a link within the site to email the coordinator.

Men's Shelter Begins Tonight
Beginning tonight and lasting twenty-six weeks, Life Bridge Christian Church will host the men from New Creation Men's Shelter on Thursday nights.  There are several ways you can participate in this ministry -- from check-in and overnight shifts to providing or cooking breakfast and cleaning laundry.  You can express your interest in any of the roles at we.imaginelifedifferently.com.  Once you express your interest in a role, you can schedule yourself for these opportunities for any of the twenty-six weeks.  If you have questions, there is a link within the website to submit questions to the coordinator.

God's Workers (Part 2)

So after meeting with James Cooper and then enjoying Ministry Monday this week (see previous post), I walked away from the evening with a task on my list: Call Mario Bustos.  I knew that he was coordinating the Homeless Men's Shelter for Valparaiso this year.  We were one of the participating churches last year for the summer session, so I needed to coordinate with him whether or not we are participating this year.  The next day, Tuesday (when the snow storm was ramping up), who should walk through our door but Mario!  It was so good to see him, catch up, and discuss God's Kingdom Work.  The time was a God Sighting for me.
