Happy Thanksgiving! A Time of Giving Thanks!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We will not hide them from their descendants; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD, his power, and the wonders he has done.  (Psalms 78:4 NIV)

Thanksgiving is a time of being thankful and celebrating all that God has done.  Here are just some things we are thankful for at Life Bridge:

We give thanks for all God has done through 500 Turkeys:

  • Provision of food, clothing, people, and money
  • Lives impacted through serving in His Name
  • Lives impacted by having their needs met

We give thanks for all God has done through Operation Christmas Child:

  • Items to fill 155 Shoe boxes for children around the world
  • Finances to cover the shipping
  • Sharing the gospel through children literature and classes through OCC
  • LB Children serving children around the world

We thank God for what He is doing through Kairos Ministries:

  • Reconciliation of inmates to God
  • Reconciliation with one another
  • For cookies that soften hearts made with love and prayers

We thank God for what He is doing through  the Luncheons:

  • Building community among young adults
  • The Body of Christ at LB joining together in creating a welcoming environment for all.
  • Great food!
We give thanks to Solomon Foundation for supporting us financially and partnering with us in service to our Lord.

We give thanks for all the teams of people who work together in a variety of capacities to serve our Lord, this part of His Body, and our community.

We give thanks for lives that have been impacted for eternity through a personal relationship with Jesus.

The list can go on and on...  For what are you giving thanks that the Lord has done?

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 NIV)

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. (Colossians 3:17 NIV)
