Meet Jordan Morris, son of Life Bridgians, Geno and Rhoda Morris.
Jordan is currently in Dental School in Kentucky and preparing to go on a 2 week mission trip to Honduras in early March with Global Health Outreach.
The destination is a border town near El Salvador and just NW of Choluteca. It is a very rural and arid part of southwestern Honduras.
While there, Jordan and other team members will be tending to the medical, dental, and spiritual needs of the community. The local pastors and lay folks will be responsible for sharing the gospel with each patient and taking time to listen and pray with them. The GHO team members will also be challenged to pray with the patients and encourage them in their walk with Christ, offer Christ as the Great Healer of the body and soul and also encourage the local pastors in their challenges as Shepherds of the flock. Home visits will be part of the outreach to those too sick to come to the clinic site.
Jordan is one of many dental students at his church in Kentucky and so they have asked students to approach their home churches. Please pray about supporting Jordan in this effort. The cost of the trip is just under $2400.
Here is the break down of the expenses:
