------------------------------
Do you see God at work in you - transforming you into the person He designed?
Do you see God at work through you - building up His body in love?
A healthy church allows God to...
work in them and
work through them.
work in them and
work through them.
When we walk with God, He works in us transforming our lives.
When we walk together, He works through us to be a blessing to others.
This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God's Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ. Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won't be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth. Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of His body, the church. He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love. (Ephesians 4:13-16 NLT)
This is how we "Empower One More to Walk Together with God."
"God Sightings" is a new blog/newsletter that will help us all see God at work in and through His people. From a single person to a large project - a served cup of coffee to a changed heart; we will take a moment to pause, see and celebrate what God is doing in us and through us: His Body.
I'm praying that God Sightings will encourage us all to join Him and walk with Him.

Dear brothers and sisters, honor those who are your leaders in the Lord's work.
They work hard among you and give you spiritual guidance.
Show them great respect and wholehearted love because of their work.
And live peacefully with each other.
Brothers and sisters, we urge you to warn those who are lazy.
Encourage those who are timid.
Take tender care of those who are weak.
Be patient with everyone.
See that no one pays back evil for evil,
but always try to do good to each other and to all people.
Always be joyful.
Never stop praying.
Be thankful in all circumstances,
for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.
(1 Thessalonians 5:11-18 NLT)
