International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church This Sunday!

IDOP
Sunday, November 2, 2014

It is hard to watch news broadcasts of what is going on in the Middle East and even around the world.  Christians live in fear of being beaten, imprisoned, and killed.  They are pressured daily to deny Christ.  We listen to the reports, and feel totally out of control to do anything.

This Sunday you can act.  Join us to get a glimpse of the life of a Christian in a country on the Persecuted Church Watch List as we watch the film, "Love Costs Everything."  Following this film we will have a time of worship and prayer... Both of which we enjoy total freedom to do.

Schedule:

5-7pm Love Costs Everything Film
7-8pm Worship and Prayer

Let the groaning of the prisoner come before You; According to the greatness of Your power preserve those who are doomed to die.
(Psalms 79:11 NASB)

"Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
(Matthew 5:11-12 NIV)

When you are arrested, don't worry about how to respond or what to say. God will give you the right words at the right time.
(Matthew 10:19 NLT)

Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
(Matthew 10:28 NIV)
