I just received a text from a friend and fellow church planter in Illinois. It read, "Praying for you today and for your upcoming Porter County Fair efforts." How cool! Ever since the request went out ten days ago, we've been receiving response after response telling us that people are praying. I received two dozen emails within the first day!
Here are two ways you may want to consider joining together in prayer:
- Prayer Walk - This Sunday, July 15th @ 2:00pm on the fair grounds. Meet, walk around the grounds, and pray.
- Sign Up to Pray - Let us know that you are praying throughout the fair by creating an account at Volunteer Spot and signing up on the 15th or any of the days of the fair. You will receive reminder emails and updates as well!
Remember, when we go to God in prayer, we invite Him to act.
