Start your Christmas shopping early!  Bring a friend, stop in and have a Vagabond special coffee or tea, and browse the items for sale in support of those most in need in our community and around the world.

Vagabond will hosting Lynne Jordan of Living Hope Ministries Today and Stripes for Christmas in July!  Lynne has a heart for encouraging others and helping them to discover (rediscover) their value in Christ through healing and restoration.  Her passion has led to Living Hope Ministries Today and Stripes.

While stopping by and meeting Lynne will certainly be a personal encouragement worth your time, this celebration is largely about reaching out to people in need around the world.  Stripes is a ministry that weaves rugs from upcycled t-shirts and sweaters and sells them for the purpose of supporting those in need around the world, such as She Is Safe and International Justice Mission.

“She is Safe” works to prevent, rescue and restore women and girls from abuse and exploitation in high risk places around the world, equipping them to build a life of freedom, faith and a strong future. To learn more go to : https://sheissafe.org/

International Justice Mission (IJM) strives to: “Rescue thousands. Protect millions. Prove that justice for the poor is possible.” For the poor, violence is as much a part of life as hunger, illness or unemployment—but it is more difficult to see. Without effective justice systems to protect them from violence (like rape, trafficking and police brutality), the world’s poor live in a state of constant fear.  IJM is motivated by Christ’s love for the poor to work with existing world systems to bring about the necessary change to rescue and protect those most in need.  Learn more about IJM at: https://www.ijm.org/
