Changing More Than the Outside

During the two week period of rearranging the worship area, a lot of amazing things happened.

First, we worked very hard and very well together.  We had a great time laughing, joking and even some serious conversation.  It was a true joy to experience.  During this time of work we had a talented young man here working off his pact time hours.  This young man was offered to work elsewhere and earn time and a half for every hour he worked.  He chose to stay and work here because he felt the need to stay and work with all of us.  We also had two students join us everyday, showing up with great attitudes no matter how sore or how messy the job.  Their response when asked if they can be there again the next day was that they were happy to be there because they knew they were working for God.  It was great to see the young and old working together.


The Men's Shelter has continued throughout this work.  God is really working through our hosts as they care and build relationships with these men and that has been evident during this work time.  We had a gentleman that is homeless stop in to see the work going on.  He felt compelled to donate money for our work.  We have 2 other gentlemen that are homeless that have begun to worship with us on Sundays and Tuesdays.  One of the men even asked his employer if he could start work on Sundays a little later, allowing him to attend church here on Sundays.

God's love is being demonstrated here at Life Bridge in the way we work together, and encourage one another in this walk together with God.  Sharing God's love through various ministries allowed us to not just change the worship center around, but it has allowed God to make changes in men's hearts.

God is good - All the time.  All the time - God is good!  Praise be to God!  Amen.
