A Day to Pray

At various times throughout the year, we like to remind ourselves of the importance and power of prayer.  We know that when we spend time in prayer, we invite God to act.  This weekend, we will be inviting God to act once again.

A "Pray Where You Are" prayer vigil will be taking place on from Friday at 10 a.m. until Saturday at 2 p.m. For more than a day, we will be asking God to work in our lives and the lives we will be touching this week.  We will be asking Him for:

1) Blessings on the families who will be receiving the turkey meals this weekend.

2) Blessings on the individuals and families who are volunteering and contributing to 500 Turkeys this year.

3) Our friends and family members who we are inviting to special events throughout the holiday season.

4) Ourselves - that we will have the courage to invite our friends and family with grace and wisdom.

Praises and thank you to the 39 different individuals/families who have already signed up to participate in prayer.  If you meant to sign up and forgot, don't worry.  It's not too late!  

The list of available slots can be found below.  Simply email  Prayer@ImagineLifeDifferently.com with your name and the time you would like to pray.  We will email you back with a confirmation and some ideas to help make your time go quickly as you pray.
