Communicate with People

We cannot love our neighbor as ourselves unless we make some kind of connection with our neighbor.  Part of our walk together with God is the walk together with one another.  Life Bridge provides several venues to help you build that walk together, building up the Body of Christ.

  • Weekend Services - Each weekend we gather together with nearly two hundred people in groups of about one hundred each service.  The table-and-chair setup is purposefully designed to help you experience God together.  Sharing a table with someone helps you share a little bit of life together - hopefully a positive part where you both see God at work.
  • God Sightings - When you fill out a Connect Card at a weekend service, we try to help you get connected with others in the church.  God Sightings help us see God at work all around us.  God Sightings is a collaborative blog where different coordinators and small group leaders share what they see God doing.  They may talk about specific projects, ministries, small group activities  or even what God is doing through individual people.  As you see what they see, you get a better picture of His Body at work.  You may also see a place God is calling you to join in.
  • Ministry Teams - Ministry teams are all over the place.  Some are consistent, ongoing ministries (like coffee bar, communications, worship team, family ministry, etc.).  Other ministries are more project-oriented (like 500 Turkeys, Feed the Need, etc.), providing opportunities to serve together in short-term events.  Ministry teams allow us to see God working through people.  You can join in as God leads you.  Simply contact the coordinator of that team to find out how you can help.  Or, perhaps God wants you to start a new ministry or team.  We gladly work to empower you in that way as well.
  • Small Groups - Small groups meet in various places and times throughout the week.  Each small group is unique, but they all have similar components: Enjoy Food, Learn from His Word, and Pray.  Small groups allow us to see God working in people.  We share our lives together, learn together, and become friends with others who are trying to do the same thing we are: walk together with God.
I'm asking God to help you connect more with others in His Body, reminding you that you are not alone in your walk with God.  I'm asking Him to give you opportunities to grow in your relationship with them and learn how to live a lifestyle where you truly love your neighbor as yourself.
